With over 30 years as a professional artist, David is represented by galleries in The Hamptons, Boston, Jackson Hole, and Scottsdale. His paintings have been featured in American Art Collector, Western Art & Architecture, SouthwestArt, US Art, Big Sky Journal, and Indianapolis Monthly.
David is a prolific children’s author and illustrator, recognized by The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Publishers Weekly, Communication Arts, among many others.
His publishers include Simon & Schuster, Candlewick Press, Chronicle Books, Hyperion, Amazon Publishing, Harry N. Abrams, and Harper Collins.
David has created images for many corporate clients, including IBM, T.G.I.Fridays, UPS, BusinessWeek, Tony’s Frozen Pizza, and Wrigley’s.

After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Rhode Island School of Design in 1988, David married his high school sweetheart.
He and Bonnie have four adult children and three grandchildren. They live in central Indiana.
