David michael Slonim

is the author and illustrator of He Came With the Couch, a Bright Horizons Top Three Books of the Year selection; Oh, Ducky; and I Loathe You. He has illustrated more than 25 other books, including Moishe’s Miracle by Laura Krauss Melmed, a New York Times Best Illustrated Children's Book. 

He speaks regularly to school and adult audiences.

David’s paintings have been represented by galleries in New York City, The Hamptons, Boston, Jackson Hole, Denver, Indianapolis, and Scottsdale. Personal Info

David and his wife Bonnie have four adult children and five grandchildren. They drink hot chocolate most evenings after dinner.
